We carry out joinery, plastering, plumbing, electrics, tiling, bathroom installation and kitchen installation with our own team. That removes the gaps between trades where jobs stall, and it puts one person in front of the whole result rather than six people each answering for a fifth of it.

Barbers Bathroom & Kitchens designs, makes and fits bespoke joinery across North Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire — fitted wardrobes, alcove units, understairs storage, media walls, boot rooms and home offices. All joinery is carried out to NVQ Level 3 Carpentry & Joinery standard.

What About Plumbing and Electrical Work?
Plumbing and electrical work are carried out in-house as part of every bathroom, kitchen and refurbishment project we run. We do not advertise them as standalone trades, and there is a deliberate reason for that.
Work that is notifiable — new circuits, gas appliances, changes to drainage — must be certified by somebody holding the relevant registration. Rather than take on standalone plumbing and electrical callouts we cannot legally certify, we handle those elements within our own projects and bring in the appropriate registered tradesperson for anything requiring sign-off. It is a narrower offer than some competitors advertise, and it is an honest one.
If you need a standalone plumber or electrician rather than a renovation, we would rather point you somewhere suitable than take the booking.
